Carbon lunch in Taralga
Join TFS on the 4th April in Taralga as we sit down for lunch with members and guests and cover the basics of Carbon Farming. We know carbon farming is a complicated and daunting space, so come join us for some lunch (included) where we’ll have an open discussion on the basics of carbon farming and answer all your questions. You’ll hear from some local farmers who have gone down the carbon farming route and our presenter, Warwick Badgery will also cover:
- Market drivers and why carbon matters
- Carbon jargon and definitions
- How farmers can prepare now and the benefits to their business
The idea is for this lunch to be relaxed and open, with plenty of opportunities for questions and discussion throughout. We will also open it up to the floor as to what you, as farmers, would like to see covered in the next 4 workshops.
These workshops (5 in the series) will:
- Support farmers to make informed decisions to lower emissions.
- Boost knowledge of emissions management in farming.
- Equip advisers with skills and resources for ongoing support.
We encourage members to bring along a guest, where they can learn a bit more about TFS and what we have in store for 2025. Please register for catering purposes.
