Females in Farming Launch event
TFS are excited to re-launch our successful Females in Farming series, thanks to funding support from the Crookwell II Community Fund. These workshops will support participants to get on the front foot of their future endeavours and decision making.
Our launch event will be held at Ensemble and Co, Crookwell, starting from 9.30am. Morning tea will include juice, coffee or tea and a mix of sweet and savoury options. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
Guest speakers will be:
Kathleen Allen – Farmer and Program Manager at Loam Bio. Kathleen will speak about her journey, how she overcame barriers to be a leader in the sector, challenges faced and opportunities in the sector moving forward.
Skye Ward – Farmer, Board Director at WoolProducers Aus and Marketing Manager at Rabobank. Syke will lead an interactive session focused on decision making and the importance of values to influence these important decisions. Skye will talk about her own journey and experiences, and how she has overcome barriers to excel in the agricultural sector.
Please register for catering purposes. This is not a TFS exclusive event and we encourage members to bring along another female producer!
